Wholesaler Booker has fixed prices on 204 products in its Locked Down campaign.

The deal includes more than 100 new products such as scallops, sorbets and pannetone and will last until 31 December.

Products included were chosen to reflect the festive season with plenty of buffet food, desserts, seasonal cheeses and pates on offer. Seasonal meats like gammon, pork, lamb and a five-bone forerib of beef have also been held at current prices due to popularity. Deals on all wines, spirits and liqueurs are also available.

Other products in the campaign are condiments, sauces and gravies and fresh products such as butter, cheeses and salmon. The campaign features a number of ‘two for’ deals such as two for £5 on Larder Buffet Sausage Rolls Unbaked (100’s), two for £12 on Chef’s Larder Gravy Granules Chicken/ Meat (2kg) and two for £10 on Gressingham Goose Fat (1kg).

The deals have been reinstated this year after proving popular with consumers in 2012.

"Our Prices Locked Down campaign continues to drive customer loyalty and helps to build profits for caterers," said Stuart Hyslop, sales director – catering. "We have really been listening to our customers to ensure we have the products that they need to ensure they have a successful Christmas.

"We have included products such as Chef’s Larder Sea Bass, Ocean Pearl Scallops and Chef’s Larder Large North Atlantic Prawns which are all perfect products for a Christmas feast, along with a wide range of chicken fillets, pork leg and beef fillet. Our customers also have the assurance of knowing we offer a good, better, best choice so they can select the product to suit their business and budget.

"This is just a small selection of our biggest and best campaign and I would really encourage caterers to contact their local branch to see how we can help increase their profits during Christmas."
