Drake & Morgan's Jillian Maclean and Adnams' Andy Wood awarded OBEs
Maclean won the award for services to the hospitality industry.
The former Novus Leisure operations director founded Drake & Morgan, the highly-regarded bar-restaurant operator, in 2008. In April, Bowmark Capital backed a management buyout of the company for £30m as it looked to expansion.
In 2010 Maclean won the Rising Star award at the Retailers’ Retailer of the Year awards. The company opens its sixth site, the Happenstance, at the St Paul’s Churchyard, on 27 June.
Wood won his OBE for services to business and the community in East Anglia.
In addition to his role as chief executive of the Suffolk-based brewer, pub operator and distiller, Wood was recognised in his position as chairman of the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership.
