RE: Smoke ban to start July 1, 2007

David wrote "Wrong; facts are facts; opinions are formed from all sorts of information including, as in those that follow ASH on the smoking issue, upon propaganda"

Thats where you need to appreciate your audience and realise why your arguements and facts and figures are irrelevant.

I am an individual that doesn't care for anyone elses opinion. I am the majority who doesn't read trade press or chit chat with the landlord.

I am the one who comes to your bar and orders a beer every day. I will come in on a weekday with my wife and mother in law on a Wednesday.

I am your quiet local who would come out more if i could go into the area with the music on,  the area that seems restricted to the loud locals I wish you would kick out as I know a load of  friends who would join me.

David, why is smoking so high on your list of pub attractions?

Why do you feel you need to champion a cause that everyone else knows is a dying cause. If you really felt it a challenge to your livelihood do what everyone else in a similar position has done, move on. I am sure that, behind all the bravado, everyone has got everything sorted for July. Would love to know what crusade you will be marching of to then,

Jon; You have still yet to put forward any kind of argument.
