RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed Alan, provide your evidence.. simple as that. All that I have done is present optional solutions and at no time have I offered bias to any solution based on modern Air Management Systems. I don't have to prove how wonderful they are as the systems are in use in the Health Service environment globally. Your comments are as usual ones that someone would make when faced with the truth and cannot react without bad mouthing. But then that has and will remain your trait for ever more

RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed Ken said " Jon you have more twists than a corcsrew on a drill. "I never wanted the smoking ban, " Jon I would simply refer you and everyone else to your postings pre ban both here and on the publican site to show the truthfulness of that statement. There is only one respomse that is fitting
LIAR!!" I never did want the smoking ban. FACT I got on with creating a non smoking area. You and others were so pre occupied with "Government can't do this and can't do that" that you were side swiped with the ban. At THAT point I said good riddance to all your nonsense and agreed that the ban was the only way forward This post replies to Ken Nason > RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed |

RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed How convenient to simply post "I never wanted the smoking ban" when the rest of the supporting post has been deleted

RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed Jon you wrecked the old Publican site why are you trying so hard to do the same here?
I pulled your post as it was the usual claptrap and disinformation from you that has been corrected by others too many times.
Grow up and try and put an argument together or get back tonyour imaginary venue.

RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed And that is the reason YOU decided to pull my post Just because YOU disagreed with it? I am glad to see it didn't break any forum rules other then not passing the Potts test. I take it you mean the Publican site was ruined as Bob got banned, or maybe that THEY decided to update it? I still see the forum is up and running, Don't call it ruined, at all. This post replies to David Pott > RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed |

Jon you supported the ban from your very first post on the publican site; You have since then taunted anyone who was and or is against the ban. As you have over the years told so many lies it is a bit late to expect anyone to believe you. This post replies to this thread |

RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed Congratulations, licensees are going to go under, pubs are going to close, the smoking ban will stay, the Pub Cos will continue bullying, the alcohol ban will come in, we will continue to get scr***d and why? Because the licencees were to busy arguing amongst theirselves instead of buckling down to the issues at hand. You all have valid points and I can see great passion in what you think its a shame that you don't channel all of this into changing the things that are affecting all of us day in & day out! RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed Wardy...you have to accept that these war of words have now been going for about 3 years and in that time bans have been introduced throughout the U.K. with only 3 publicans prepared to lay their livelyhoods and personal investments on the line to fight for their right to choose what is right for their business and customers. RE: Famous Status Quo pub closed One thing is universal. Smoking bans kill the live music clubs. Since the ban went in in my state in the US, I have lost regular gig rotation at several clubs (because they CLOSED) and society/country club work has come to a halt. There is no place you can smoke in my state, save for a tobacco retail outlet. It seems the nanny state has no interest in the arts, but that goes without saying. This post replies to this thread |
