RE: 2,000 pubs could close for good Surely it is in the Pubcos interest for the bottom end of the market (from their perspective) to close. They earn less from these outlets and are happy when they fail as either they keep bonds in spurious circumstances,find another sucker to try and fail,(keep bond again),get their properties maintained and then just sell them off to a property developer. RE: 2,000 pubs could close for good I've been saying that for a long time know they never stand to loose nor do the investors as there will always be money to be made in property. So for the long short term we will swindle inocent people of their money and when we board it up looking at the long term we will sell the property to the highest bidder and still be quids in!!
