The PubCo Model

Yep .. scam sounds all too familiar ........."A confidence trick or confidence game, more often known as a con, scam, swindle, grift, gaffle, bunko, flim flam, stratagem, or scheme, is an attempt to swindle a person or people (known as the "mark" or sometimes "griftee") which involves gaining his or her confidence"........... hmmmmmmm could that be construed as a non existent 'business partnership'?

The PubCo Model

Have a look at www.buyingapub.com under "Pub Co Con or how to manipulate an industry", it makes an interesting story and is pure speculation based on observations, what it should do is make people ask questions. The more questions people ask, the greater chance of the real truth emerging and reaching the Public Domain.

Nigel 'summed up in how many words'? A copy should now be sent to every MP...

I reckon Jeffrey Archer would be able to make a mint out of this...

Sadly oh so true...

D Smith, I have seen virtually the same thing done in another industry many years ago, it was fine until the recession bit and they all got too greedy, they believe in their own infallibility after a while. It is very sad but a good Pub Co handled the right way would have been a terrific operation and I am very envious because the potential for making money for everyone was there but lessees became a disposable commodity, in stead of an essential commodity.
