Punch has launched a new employee discount website.
The site, developed in partnership with Vectis, allows Punch employees to access extensive discounts on various services and products from holidays, high street shopping, vehicle breakdown cover and gym membership.
“We want our teams to view a career in the pub trade as an attractive proposition and have developed a competitive package that offers a raft of incentives that can be tailored to individual needs,” said Punch Tavern’s group HR director Karen Caddick.
Punch employees can also join the company's Share Incentive Plan, which gives them the opportunity to purchase shares.
“Giving our employees a vested interest in our future is a great way to retain talented people," added Caddick.
"This, combined with a competitive salary, a comprehensive training programme and our reward and recognition scheme reinforces our commitment to people viewing a job behind bars as a long-term career opportunity."

RE: Punch unveils new employee benefits Can't imagine any one other than an employee buying shares in Punch now. ON the other hand it's not a leap to guess that employees are probably frantically wondering how to get the hell out before they get burned along with the others in the inferno that is coming... RE: Punch unveils new employee benefits I just wonder whether the breakdown cover can be extended to marriages, health and mind rather than just vehicles? This post replies to this thread |

RE: Punch unveils new employee benefits Has anyone else got a feeling that some of these companies are up caca creek without a paddle? Their share price dropped to 265.5 today and they issued a level statement that they would not be paying a dividend even though cash flow remains strong. Why not issue a divvy then? Because they need liquidity to pay off some little bills that are coming up perchance? Do you think the 'raft of incentives' might include a survival kit, life jacket and snorkel? There would be instructions on mouth to mouth rescussitation of course even though that would be a forlorn hope. edited by: J Mark Dodds at: 04/09/2008 01:09:06 This post replies to this thread |
