News Article Comments : New look bottles for Stella Artois

A Sellars

InBev UK has launched a new bottle for Stella Artois in a bid to raise the brand's profile and is harmonising the abv of the brand at 5% across the on and off trade.

The new look bottle will launch in the UK in September 2008 before being rolled out across the world.

The new bottle features a new message – "Premium Lager Beer" – and also the message "Anno 1366" stressing the brand's heritage. The 250ml and 330ml bottles are 81% recycled and 100% recyclable.

InBev UK president, Stuart MacFarlane, said: “This change will have no impact on the taste or the product characteristics of Stella Artois. By harmonizing the abv we are providing the consumer with clarity and this will allow consumers to enjoy a consistent strength lager at home or in the pub.”

Obviously Mr Stuart MacFarlane has not got a clue about the taste of stella artois, I have just sampled some of this NEW stella artois and ive got to say im very dissapointed, it tastes nothing like the old stella artois, I know many people that drink stella artois and once they have tasted this c##p they will also do what i am going to do and that is find another quailty beer to spend my hard earned cash on. I CAN SEE THIS ACT OF STUPIDITY LOSING SOMEONE A LOT OF MONEY!!!!!
