RE: Children's smoke exposure increases after pub bans

Ken said "

Jon, pity you lost the chance to back your statements up and show that you actually believed what you posted here. All can now see you don't have the convictions of what you say.

Given the chance you bottled."

I take the JR debate seriously and think the offer of a bet as childish

There you go ...

Didn't want to say it, but you just won't let it lie.

John said "Robert. You do not answer salient questions."

He doesn't answer anything asked of him

Robert.

If you refuse to answer the very direct questions asked of you how can you have the balls to accuse us of not replying to your daft questions.

Jon you really must get help with your memory problem.

There is a search facility on this site use it and you will find the questions you have ignored. If use Google their cashed sites you will be able to find the questions you were asked on the old publican site which you ignored.

You will also be able to find where Robert had to help you out when you were digging yourself a hole with your lack of working knowledge of the 1964 ACT.

Debate requires a thesis of some sort; after all these years you have not been able to propose a single argument for the smoking  as it has been enacted.

Jon, it is such a shame that you come up with "childish" as the reason for not taking part in what I see as a very harmless, fun and adult way of deciding who's statement is right. But, that is your right. Unfortunately it only shows what has been said that where as you make statements you are unwilling or unable to give them any substance with backup or debate

So. I assume we will have more of the "it won't happen" "it will never happen" statements from you which you will give no backing to or reason for making.

The wager is still there for you to accept Jon. Name the terms, show people that you believe what you say and are prepared to back your statements. I think the coloquial term is tp put your money where your mouth is!Have some fun(please don't say it is too serious to make fun of). Join me in bringing something new to this site.

Roberts influence of HMG is not to be underestimated. One day he says that immigration should be controlled, and the very next day NL announce the sending of text messages to immigrants reminding them not to overstay their welcome. UKIP is the exit strategy; Robert is probably working right now on the imbalance between so called fairground freaks and laughter.

JM sorry I still don't understand the cryptic point you were making. Please, as requested before, make your questions and comments understandable for we mere mortals. It save a lot of going back and forth which I for one neither have the time or inclination to do. What does 18b Oswald mean exactly(exactly, in the term of meaning not 20 page disitation)?

I propose to use formulae. Should save on the amount of text!

Jon I think Davids post sums up the position with regard to your contribution to this site, and elsewhere NIL. As for questions I've scrolled back through all 13 pages and cannot find one single question that you have asked except, about me standing for UKIP. If asked I would give it consideration. Now asnwer the questions I have posed previously just a reminder of 3. 1. If you were in partnership with a silent partner who was absent would you be happy if they installed cellar monitoring to check on you? 2. Is your establishment non smoking? 3. How does smoke travel down several flights and find it's way out of your front door.

I said this would happen when I wrote to my MP about a Smoking ban and how it would affect us all, its quite obvious that you stop smoking in pubs etc and people will stay at home smoking in front of the kids and causing more chest problems, but hey! who listens to common sense anymore? no one
