Who remembers the old cans used for Tenants lager ?  So lets look at this , we can drink our selves stupid , smoke ourselves and others to an early grave and take so called soft drugs as recreational which lead to a "gateway" to worse things , but look upon the true glory and some may say art form , of a naked lady,the PC brigade and governmant control police say NO WAY , it may be dangerous for us to be exposed on the side of a beer bottle to naked flesh but not the top shelves of newagents or on our TV screens eh ?

David Poley - I hope you are reading this forum, but this is just pure idiocy... You are right it is a bit of fun and wrong that there is a serious side to this.  If people drink as much as you say thay will , they certainly wont be capable of sex afterwards. Life is too managed, to PC and at the end of the day these are guidelines and not laws. Look at the problems in the world, but no we have got to hide a naked lady, that will resolve all the global issues immedtaley.... Life's just so strange these days, good job I stopped the hooters tops for my bar staff....

Hi Graham,

If I remember rightly the Tennants ladies on the cans in the NAAFI were always in bikinis, but if you scratched them all you got underneath was bright shiny aluminium. Mind you we bitter drinkers always used to call the lads who drank Tennants 'big girls', because they couldn't drink a decent pint.

Some serious drinking had to be done to collect the whole set at one sitting, and then came Herforder.

It is right though that any form of sexual innuendo is removed from drinking, because lots of drinks means P.P.P. (p**s poor performance).

We all know Portman are a joke, just ntoiced their former leader has ppped up at the ASA. What isn't such a joke however is the impeding 'rules' from the new ASH, Drinkaware.

Happy days indeed in the land of LOA though I preferred Dortmunder Union and then later Amstel. The Yellow handbags were a great way of starting a weekend. I wonder why these pure beers are not liked in this country and why a lager produced over here is totally different in terms of taste and purity?
