I understand the pub is owned by one of the Rowe brothers (of Jethro fame) so entertaining the Peruvian Ambassador will be no problem. This post replies to this thread |

It seems the wacko's at ASH UK are going after Africa now. It seems that those naughty tobacco companies are targetting 14 yearolds. This from ASH: Deborah Arnott, Ash director, said: "Bat understands that if you want to sell to 14-year-olds you have to act like you're aiming older." So there we have it target you adverts at the 20 something and children will want to buy something. So the answer to the dilemma's over smoking, drinking and obesity is to make adverts which seem childish , then they won't want the things advertised. So we could have a Telly Tubby smoking, or perhaps they could eat 'burgers' after all they are Obese little things. We could have Super Ted, swigging a bottle of cider and follwing off a scaffold. But seriously are ASH bonkers, I think Arnott's statement shows they are. Lets hope BAT sue them and report them to the Charities Commission, at what point do CC deem that these fanatics breach the rules. Oh but I forgot, they are Independently Appointed by HMG. http://www.theherald.co.uk/news/news/display.var.1359128.0.0.php This post replies to Alan Taylor > RE: Peru to pub's rescue? |
