It gives me great pleasure to say I saw no alternative but regulation for what has become a soiled and tawdry trade. Paul, it should be de rigeur for landlords to give details of tenants stays for 10 years to incoming tenants. Why not? |

Your mind is closed. Your statement is stupid. Your threats are crystal clear. You simply have no concept of how people at the gritty end of the pubco ladder live in fear day in and day out of their lives. They are afraid of the postman, the revenue, the vat man, their area manager, their family and the customers who want to buy drink they are unable to stock. Sometimes they find it hard to look at themselves in the mirror. Where there is no grass then a single blade on the other side is a technicolor feast for the eyes. When you are so deep into something and the only way out is failure what difference does a little more failure make? They are up that creek already. These people are badly wounded and wounded animals make the most dangerous adversary. Your arrogance is perverse as there is little humour here and none forthcoming from you. You are a one star pubco snake. You should be mongoosed with immediate effect. |

The salient point is whether there is a Master and Servant relationship. Are there sufficient levels of control and personal service for there to be an employer/employee relationship? I think so. |

Crikey, what dullness! If you care to know more about GMB activities, join the GMB. Bob, you have returned to being a rabid pedant. You sound like a policeman, asking the same question again and again and again and again. You were not very forthcoming about F2C battle plans re the Judicial Review, yet you demand more than you were prepared to give. We are all big lads wearing long trousers. I don't think in the great scheme of things I am greatly concerned about £11 a month. Tenants are isolated and bullied. The GMB has done what the BII and FLVA and anyone else has failed to do. They have said no more. The Ballot is a sideshow. What is happening here is agitation and it is having a great effect judging by the appearance of the usual one star wonders. Keeping your powder dry is what is needed. Not haste. In the kingdom of hope there is no winter. |
