Renewed calls for Mephedrone ban after two deaths > Renewed calls for Mephedrone ban after two deaths

I'm thinking about buying a load and selling it while it's still legal. Morals don't enter into business remember, just ask the BBPA, Pubco's or any of the other preachers of "you chose to sign the CONtract" If the foolish elements of the youth choose to stick plant food up their beaks then it could maybe help me afford the rent and sky high beer prices, afterall i wont be breaking the law. (Awaiting the moral backlash for this tongue in cheek post from those who normaly speak in defence of the morally bankrupt)

RE: Smoke rebel Hogan will stand as UKIP candidate > RE: Smoke rebel Hogan will stand as UKIP candidate

I see it as a positive that a candidate for election as an MP was prepared to stand up in the name of freedom of choice for others and even sacrifice his own freedom in doing so. It makes a change from the usual get rich whilst selling the people down the river type of MP we are used to.

RE: Mulholland named CAMRA's top campaigner > RE: Mulholland named CAMRA's top campaigner

Nothing to hide, nothing to fear. I think Gregs list of campaigns were more on a local level, but i realise why you posted the link to that particular page, to try and discredit him. You could say what your angle is to try and gain some credibility in the first instance.

RE: Mulholland named CAMRA's top campaigner > RE: Mulholland named CAMRA's top campaigner

What problem? I asked you a question.

RE: Drink drive limit could be cut > RE: Drink drive limit could be cut

Most countries have a zero tolerance to murder but it still happens. You're talking out of your back pocket. It could be something to do with the amount of cases where the driver has been drinking but is under the legal limit, and someone realising that a way to get more convictions for league table and revenue reasons was to move the goalposts or make the net a bit bigger. I've never touched a drop before getting behind the wheel and cannot understand people who do because it only takes something to go wrong and your life can change instantly, if you are over the limit then you have to accept that as your own doing. What's wrong with the limit that has been used up til now? Is it broke? Must be cos it clearly needs mending. Of all the things in this Country that are a problem at the moment i think drink driving must be one of the least concerning, but i suppose it keeps people in a job.

RE: Pubs are 'Marmite' for investors > RE: Pubs are 'Marmite' for investors

They are probably being wasted housing people who've been thrown out on the streets in the name of pubco greed kevin. That and a million other methods of wasting taxes that our Government appear to be experts at.

Luff: We stand by every word on pubcos > Luff: We stand by every word on pubcos

Where did Mr Rawligs go, had a lot to say then when posed with something he'd struggle with he disappeared, funny that.

RE: Mulholland named CAMRA's top campaigner > RE: Mulholland named CAMRA's top campaigner

I'm sure the people of Leeds North west value Mr Mulholland as he is clearly representing them by campaigning for what they want. What do you represent and what and who do you do it for?

RE: Pubs are 'Marmite' for investors > RE: Pubs are 'Marmite' for investors

Ah the old let the buyer beware, so old it's still in Latin. I suppose a modern day equivalent would be watch out for scammers. So what's your story Simon? Why are you so firmly for people being ruined by the pubco's? Is that where you make your money?

S&NPC puts 43 pubs on the market > S&NPC puts 43 pubs on the market

Probably anyone who has ever had a tied lease and knows the budgets available for repairs and renovations. I know how many things i'd have liked to have had done in my pub to improve and maintain it but due to the pubco taking all the money it's usually a cheap bodge job just to keep the place going as that's all i can afford. So if these are bottom end pubs i wonder how long they have been bottom end pubs and how many lessee's have come and gone at each of those for sale in the last 10 years, also how many have left with more than they went in with, but i guess that information will never see the light of day.
