Smoke group pledges to fight on
A group seeking permission for ventilated smoking rooms in pubs has launched a new website for its supporters.
Freedom to Choose hopes to launch a Judicial Review of the Government’s smoking ban and has launched www.freedom2choose.co.uk as a place for like-minded licensees to keep up to date with its progress.
Spokesman Robert Feal-Martinez said: “The site is to focus on the news and keep members and interested parties up to date.
“We felt we had reached a crossroads, where we needed to focus more on getting the message out there that Freedom to Choose is not a pro-smoking group, as the anti-smoking lobby have depicted us.
“We just want a proper evaluation of Regulated Indoor Air Quality Standards.”
