Carlsberg goes with the flow
Carlsberg UK has introduced new fonts and glassware for the Carlsberg and Carlsberg Extra Cold brands across 5,000 UK pubs.

The fonts will dispense the draught lager at “optimum temperature and flow” and “minimise wastage”. Enamel-engraved Carlsberg-branded glasses are part of the brewer’s We Deliver More programme.
Carlsberg UK’s head of on-trade customer marketing David Scott said that Carlsberg sales have increased by 4.5% and overall lager sales have increased by 4.1% where the new font has been used in trials.
The launch of the new font and glassware will be supported by Carlsberg Academy’s “interactive training programme” for licensees, who will have opportunities to learn how quality can improve profitability.
Resources include serving guidelines, brand notes and a staffroom training poster.
