MA100 finalists revealed
The finalists of the first-ever Morning Advertiser 100 awards for independent multiple managed retailers have been unveiled.
The six awards aim to recognise outstanding retailing amomg the 100 companies who make up the membership.
Winners will be named at the Morning Advertiser’s Great British Pub awards on 18 September.
Morning Advertiser editor Andrew Pring said: “These awards have been created to recognise the innovation and high quality retailing evident among smaller managed operators.
"This first year of the awards has seen an outsanding level of entries with judges impressed by the extemely high quality of members’ retail offers.”
Finalists in the Best Food Offer category are: Innventure, Peach Pub Company, Merchant Inns, Memorable Pubs, Whiting and Hammond.
Finalists in the Best Drink Offer category are: Baa Baa Group, The Head of Steam, Market Town Taverns, Orange Tree Group and Pleisure.
Finalists in the Best Design category are: Baa Baa Group, Mercury Taverns, Real Pubs and Kurnia Group.
Finalists in the Most Impressive Growth category are: Apres Bars UK, Orange Tree Group, Mercury Inns and Real Pubs.
Finalists in the Most Newcomer category are: Memorable Pubs, C2 Original Inns and Merchant Inns.
Finalists in the Best Individual category are: Graham Price and Gerry Brunning of Brunning & Price, Rupert and Joanna Clevely of Geronimo Inns, Michael Kheng, of Kurnia Group, and Paul Salisbury and Paul Hales of Lovely Pubs.
