All you can drink deals face ban

A new code of conduct on promotions banning all you can drink offers is to be drawn up, according to the Mirror.

Is Government considering code of conduct?

The paper claims to have seen a draft Department of Health consultation document, which calls for the banning of cut price drinks in pubs during televised sports matches and all you can drink offers.

The industry is still waiting for the Government commissioned report into pricing, promotion and harm to be published.

The industry's own code of conduct was ditched earlier this year over fears that it breached competition laws.
