Fuller's buys award winning Somerset pub
London brewer Fullers has acquired the Bear & Swann Inn in Chew Magna, Somerset.

The pub scooped the award for County Dining Pub of the Year in the Good Pub Guide 2007.
“We have been looking to expand our presence in the Bristol area for a while and are delighted to have acquired such a fantastic pub," said Fuller’s Inns managing director Simon Emeny.
“The Bear & Swan Inn is famous for its food and is a real destination venue, as well as a popular meeting place for the many residents of the bustling village of Chew Magna.
“The Bear & Swan Inn is our third pub in the Bristol area, and its great balance of wet and dry trade made it a very attractive purchase for us.”
The Bear & Swan Inn will be operated as a Fuller’s managed house under operations director Jonathon Swaine.
