Licensing minister to meet Sky execs
Licensing minister Gerry Sutcliffe is to meet Sky executives over the next couple of weeks, according to John Grogan.
Murphy: case set to be heard next year
Labour MP John Grogan told members of the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers (ALMR) that he believed that Sutcliffe was interested in exploring ideas for other methods of costing subscriptions. It is currently based on rateable value.
Grogan also referred to the Karen Murphy case, set to be heard in Europe, saying he believed it would be heard next year.
"There is a chance she could win," he said.
