Heineken names new UK boss
Heineken has appointed Stefan Orlowski as managing director of Scottish & Newcastle UK.
Orlowski succeeds Jeremy Blood who announced his departure last month for "personal reasons".
Orlowski is currently group commerce director of Heineken and will take up his new role on 1 July.
“I am delighted that Stefan has accepted this critical leadership role in one of our highest priority markets," said Heineken chief executive Jean-François van Boxmeer.
"He has the right attributes and experience to address the considerable challenges of the UK market. He has worked directly with the UK management team on their commercial strategy and has an outstanding track record in both general and commercial management.
"He has made a significant contribution to our business both as the leader of our global commercial function and as a member of the executive committee. ”
Orlowski added: “The chance now to work alongside a strong and talented UK management team to lead one of Heineken’s most important markets is a compelling personal and professional opportunity. I am looking forward to getting started.”
