S&NPE launches new food support website
Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises (S&NPE) has launched a new food website for its lessees.

The new site, www.snpefood.co.uk, provides information on the latest food and hygiene legislation, downloadable menus, a gross profit calculator and an area for lessees to post food-related questions, which will be answered within 48-hours.
Lessees will also be able to order food direct from catering suppliers through the website at a discount.
"The food website provides lessees with the type of support they have told us would make a difference to them," said food development manager Ben Bartlett.
"Up to date legal and training information, promotions and marketing materials as well as information on the latest food trends and menus are all available to them at the touch of a button. What’s more it can be accessed 24 hours a day 365 days a year, how and when lessees want.”
The website also allows staff to take an online hygiene course. "Staff used to have to travel 15 miles whereas now they only need spend half an hour on the computer,” said S&NPE lessee Phil Breed of the Abbey Inn, Kinloss.
