Punch puts 50 pubs on the market
Punch Taverns has put a further 50-strong package of pubs on the market.
It is thought that the group of former managed houses were initially identified by Punch as leased conversions — and currently sit within the Punch Partnerships division.
However, it is believed that Punch has struggled to find long-term lessees and all of the pubs in question are thought to be let on short-term agreements.
The pubs are to be sold piecemeal and are expected to appeal to multiple-site operators and regional brewers who can turn around marginal managed pubs.
As managed houses, the pubs are thought to have typically produced Ebitda of between £100,000 and £150,000.
The package of pubs is spread across the UK.
