Smirnoff in £15m UK push
Diageo is planning an ambitious new global campaign for Smirnoff vodka set for launch next month.
The activity will form the majority of the £15m investment for the Smirnoff brand earmarked for the UK this year and comprises a TV and poster campaign, online advertising, PR, events as well as activity in pubs and bars.
Entitled “There,” the campaign is all about those moments in your life when you look back and say “I was there” marketing manager Anita Robinson explains.
“We expect the campaign and TV ad to create quite a buzz with people and really cement Smirnoff as a truly exciting brand, which champions innovative, unforgettable experiences,” she added.
The first TV ad will air on 8 July.
