Corona tops Facebook poll
Corona Extra has been voted the world’s favourite beer brand in a Facebook poll.
A poll of 2.5m people put Corona at the top of the list with more than 645,000 votes.
The world's favourite TV show was Friends with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon being voted as the best album.
Angel Garcia Gomez, head of Corona Extra in the UK, said: “This result is very important to us because it was consumers who chose our brand ahead of our competitors.
“It gives us the reassurance that our customers are connecting with the brand and like the taste and enjoyment that it brings.”
