Pepsi trials flavours
Pepsi is trialling a range of flavoured colas with one of its key customers.
The trial, which has just started, will run for about three months, but there are no plans as yet to introduce the concept to a wider market, according to Pepsi.
The six varieties — apple, vanilla, cherry, winter spice, tropical and mango & chilli — come in a 750ml bottle with a pump on it. A licensee pours the syrup Pepsi flavour into a glass followed by the Pepsi, in a way that is “similar to syrups for coffee”.
