Greene King reveals Christmas ale offers
Greene King has revealed its real ale offers for the Christmas season.
Old Speckled Hen: feeling festive
Old Speckled Hen will feature on festive branded glassware and drip mats, destined to slot together to form a Christmas tree.
The brewer’s Abbot Ale will be advertised over the festive season on Brian Blessed’s classic tales on Dave.
“Now is the time to take advantage of the massive increase of interest in cask beer,” said Greene King marketing director Fiona Hope. “So, the key challenge for licensees is to get the right range of cask beers, to up-sell like mad and to serve every pint in great condition.”
Greene King has also brought back Abbot Reserve for the Christmas season, “a full-bodied, smooth and mature beer”.
Also back for December is Rocking Rudolph. “Rocking Rudolph is a rich, dark and fruity Christmas ale and is Greene King’s most popular seasonal beer,” said head brewer John Bexton.
