Tia Maria turns to TV

Tia Maria is to make a return to the TV screen for the first time in six years this Christmas, as part of a new £1m investment in the brand by First Drinks.

The company took over distribution for the coffee liqueur in the UK two months ago, following Illva Saronno's acquisition of the brand from Pernod Ricard.

The new campaign, called “Mix It”, has been developed to communicate the drinks versatility as a mixing spirit.

“Promoting the adaptability and strong mixability credentials of Tia Maria will further cement our leadership status at this key time of year,” said brand manager Sarah Harding.
