Hosts fined as foreign satellite soccer trials begin
Two licensees have been forced to pay more than £2,000 in the first of a series of court cases over foreign satellite football screenings.

The district judge at Chester Magistrates asked for cases against 26 licensees to be heard at the same time and this week William Miller of the Grand Junction, Ashton-on-Ribble, was fined £300, with costs of £1,618.
Michael Quigley of the Red Lion, Rugby, was also fined £500 and forced to pay £1,500 in costs.
Both were found guilty to offences under the Copyright Designs and Patents Act.
