South Notts pubs pass underage sting tests
All 15 pubs refused to serve an underage test purchaser in South Nottinghamshire this month.

Police sent a 16-year-old boy into 15 venues on 5 February and watched as barstaff refused to serve him alcohol.
Police licensing officer Paul Horton said the good result could be due to Pubwatch meetings held regularly in the area.
“It’s very encouraging to see that each one of these pubs followed the law and refused to serve the boy,” said Horton.
Barstaff who fail a sting test face an £80 fine and the licensee could be prosecuted, lose their licence or be forced into temporary closure.
“Needless to say, licensed premises need to be on their guard because we will continue to carry out test purchase operations all over South Nottinghamshire,” said Horton.
