Upskill Bar Staff Challenge - The Royal MacKintosh
As part of its Spirits Revolution Initiative, leading spirits supplier Diageo teamed up with PMA to offer three licensees and their teams the chance to receive a free bespoke spirits training session at their venue.
The second took place in September at the Royal MacKintosh in Dunbar where the team received specialist spirits training led by Diageo Bar Academy trainer Calum Lawrie.

Diageo is continuing to push the category initiative with the launch of a new Spirits Revolution website – www.spirits-revolution.com - which aims to educate publicans and licensees on the huge growth opportunity present within the £5.4bn Spirits category. The website, which is live now, will offer advice, hints and tips to licensees and bar staff on ways in which they can make simple changes that will deliver extra sales and increase profits.
