The owner of Brulines beer monitoring equipment has brought in the former boss of Mansfield Brewery to help it expand.Comprehensive Business Services (CBS) has appointed Bill McCosh, who left Mansfield when it was taken over by Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries nearly a year ago.He is currently chairman of Tom Cobleigh after it was acquired by venture capital group Electra Partners from Rank for £90m in August.CBS intends to launch new products aimed at the pub trade after buying Brulines for nearly £4.5m in December.Hi-tech systems for monitoring beer flow are being developed along with new spin-off products. With a major share of the tenanted pub market, it is gaining new customers on the managed house side.CBS chief executive Derrick Collin said: “Bill's detailed knowledge of the brewing, licensed retail and leisure sectors will prove to be invaluable in the future development of our business.“The scheduled roll-out of new product lines and our expansion into other allied areas of the leisure sector will undoubtedly benefit from his experience and contacts within the industry.”
