Leading Scottish property specialists Alan Creevy and Peter Darroch have resigned from Chesterton to set up a new leisure property consultancy.
Their new company, Creevy LLH, is based in Glasgow and began trading on June 1 this year.
Mr Creevy (pictured) said: "Fellow director Peter Darroch and I felt we had achieved all we could in the large company environment. We are delighted with the reaction of some of our clients who have been supportive in our creation of a firm of qualified chartered surveyors specialising in licensed leisure and hotel businesses. "We will be one of the largest firms of property consultants in Scotland specialising in the leisure sector and between us have around 20 years expertise in the field."
He added that the company's aim is to make customer satisfaction "a priority" and to cover agency, business appraisals, valuations, consultancy work and more traditional activities such as rent reviews.
The pair are joined by former colleagues Keith McBain and Elizabeth Gordon.
Mr Creevy said: "Our detailed understanding of the inner working of leisure businesses is our strength and we believe this is unique within our sector. Furthermore we have invested heavily in the latest technology ensuring ease of communication and very quick response times. Our clients will include private or corporate operators, leisure companies, property companies, banks and lending institutions and local enterprise companies."
