Big brand suppliers right down to niche manufacturers are using this spring's Convenience Retailing Show from 4 to 6 March at the NEC in Birmingham to launch new products and meet smaller customers face to face. Heineken is sampling its new 5% premium lager, while GBL International is launching Cavela, a 200ml bottle of Spanish wine with fruit juice in three flavours passionfruit, orange and lemon. Shark is featuring the price and trade promotions it offers retailers, including PoS and merchandising support, for its 100% natural caffeine, carbonated, stimulation drink, which has achieved cult status among students and clubbers. Innocent Drinks is launching its latest seasonal drink, the Spring Smoothie. The company promises it will "contain the very essence of spring" as well as being an amazing colour. In addition, Imperial Tobacco, Gallaher, Swedish Match and Zig Zag are all showing their full ranges for smokers. For details see www.cstoreshow.com or phone 0870 429 4664 for registration forms.
