Pub-goers who have a passion for darts could find themselves playing against former world darts champion Phil Taylor.
To win the opportunity to play against the greatest darts player of all time, according to fans, publicans will have to ensure their customers are playing darts on their games machines.
During a two-week period (March 3 to March 16), Leisure Link will be monitoring the amount of plays of Phil Taylor's World Championship Darts national tournament game, on more than 1,800 of its itbox multi-entertainment terminals at pubs across the UK.
Leisure Link Group Managing Director Jim O' Halleran said it could prove to be a great money-spinner for pubs across the UK.
The event will be split into 10 geographical regions and the pub within each region which achieves the highest number of plays during the two-week period, will enjoy a visit from Phil Taylor himself.
And this isn't the only incentive. Individual customers in the pubs will also have the chance to win prize money of £5,000 playing the itBox.
