Hartlepool striker Marco Gabbiadini and his wife Debbie have purchased the Bishops Hotel in York through the Leeds office of agent, Christie & Co. Gabbiadini has played for teams including Sunderland, Stoke City and Crystal Palace. The hotel was sold for an undisclosed figure from an asking price of £750,000 by Denise and Stephen Magson. City pair's Riviera Restaurateurs Alison and Lak Ferhi from London have purchased the Grade-II listed Riviera Restaurant in Christchurch, Dorset, through agent, Christie & Co. Kate Erol had traded the restaurant for two years, specialising in Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant was sold off an asking price of £295,000. Leading light The 65-bedroom, four-star Cadogan Hotel in Knightsbridge, south west London, is the first acquisition of Leading Trust, a partnership between US-based hotels consortium Leading Hotels of the World Ltd and New York-based real estate investment company Trinity Hotel Investors. Leading Trust aims to acquire 16 hotels across Continental Europe. The hotel was sold through Christie & Co and is undergoing an extensive refit which is due to be completed in January 2004.
