Abbey Well has launched a new 750ml wine-shaped glass bottle for its mineral water to give it an up-market look. The company said the elegant design will complement wine on the table. "The new design is ideal for presentation in any prestigious establishment," said managing director Tony Robson. The bottles are packed 12 to a case. Sharpe move British gin and vodka distiller G&J Greenall has appointed Tony Sharpe as managing director. Sharpe, who takes over from David Rees, has held several senior posts at the Coca-Cola Company. Sharpe aims to expand the business and Greenall's brands, which include Original London Dry Gin and ready-to-drink Gin and Tonic, worldwide. Cheviot appointed Spanish wine producer Vinedos y Bodegas XXI has appointed Cheviot UK Wine Agencies as its UK representative. Cheviot will distribute three red wines under Vinedos y Bodegas' Darien label: Tempranillo 2002 (rsp £5.99), Crianza 2000 (rsp £7.99) and Seleccion 2000 (rsp £13.49). Cabana contract Cabana Soft Drinks has been awarded a supply contract for dispense soft drinks at all of Inventive Leisure's Revolution vodka bar outlets. Cabana will supply its wide portfolio ofwell-known consumer soft drinks, including Classic Cranberry. Managing director Terry Bates said: "The partnership with Inventive has enabled us to build on our already strong position in the licensed trade.
