Britvic has launched a new website designed to accredit and publicise Britain's best family pubs.
The website, has been set up in conjunction with the National Family and Parenting Institute (NFPI) and the BII and is at www.familyfriendlypubs.com.
"With strict standards on quality set by customers themselves, Britvic's Family Friendly Pubs initiative will be a leading and credible guide for families across the UK," said Britvic category director Andrew Marsden.
"Britvic is committed to helping pubs improve their offering to the family market, and this scheme will aid all outlets working in the family sector."
All accredited outlets will receive a plaque as well as being promoted on the website. Pubs will also be offered online advice on how to improve their offering and cater for the family market.
NFPI head of marketing Vicki Shotbolt added: "The scheme will help families visit pubs more often, with advice on which pubs best suit their needs."
