With no structural changes involved, the

internal decoration took just 10 days. "The whole place was a bit formal before," says Bunting. "All the tables in the restaurant were laid with wine glasses and it could be quite intimidating. We wanted to get away from that and be more informal."

The inside has been given a lick of paint, the wooden floors were refurbished and some new furniture and pictures added. The back bars have been remodelled and a glass refresher system added.

"A lot of the furniture is the original stuff," says Godden. "Some companies throw

everything away and start again but we don't. We have mixed the old with the new. It helps create an informal atmosphere."

The pictures on the walls are all new and are popular. "People keep asking where

we got them from as it would look good in their lounge," says Moon. "This is great

feedback."
