Ever So Sensible Bars, the Nottingham based bar group, has opened its fourth Dogma bar.
The latest site, in Castle Street, Reading, opened its doors at the weekend.
The £850,000 refit of a former chapel comprises a luxurious ground floor bar and a first floor dance room and bar, with a total capacity of 550 people.
The bar was designed by Chris Bulaitis, managing director of Ever So Sensible Bars, in collaboration with Mark Mason from Masonwood Design.
The 50 members of staff and management underwent an extensive 2 week training programme prior to opening, including three days led by the internationally acclaimed drinks mixologist, Ben Reed from IP Bartenders.
Ever So Sensible Bars owns and operates seven outlets, in Nottingham, Sheffield, Lincoln, Coventry and Reading. The addition of the Reading site will take the annual projected sales for the group to over £7.5 million.
Bulaitis said: "Our new dogma in Reading has taken the brand into a new area of sexy sophistication."
