Priory Inn at Tetbury, Gloucestershire, is launching special food weekends this winter to inspire visitors with seasonal, local food and drink.
The weekends involve sampling and learning about recently produced, environmentally sound, appetising local produce.
Hotel director and co-owner Tanya Kelly said: "Many families who have been in farming for generations are adding value to their products to maintain their farms and continue their lifestyles.
"We are thrilled to put these products on our menus. They include hand-made cheeses, home-churned ice cream, honey, jams, sparkling wines and lagers."
Guests will arrive in time for dinner on Friday; on Saturday they will visit the region's award-winning farmers' market and a dairy farm that has been transformed into a cheese-making facility, before returning to the pub for dinner and wine tastings featuring local wine.
A local Sunday morning breakfast will be followed by a tour of the vineyard, which was the source of the wine tasted the previous evening.
The weekend will end with presentations of baskets of goodies that visitors have tried and tasted during the weekend.
