Pub supplier 3G Food Service and Seafood Solutions has launched a new range of premium fishcakes using ingredients of such high quality, it's almost a shame to add sauces.

The Dartmouth smoked haddock and Scottish salmon fishcakes can be offered as a starter or main course option. The Dartmouth smoked haddock fishcake is made haddock, potatoes, Mendip Hills grated cheddar and a dusting of flour.

The Scottish salmon fishcake is made with salmon, sun blushed tomato and Tuscan herb butter, potatoes and a dusting of flour.

Both can be served more-or-less 'naked', with a simple salad accompaniment.

Ben Smales, managing director of 3G Food Service & Seafood Solutions. "As fish and seafood is becoming increasingly popular with consumers, we wanted to source some premium fish products for the 3G Select range that would provide our customers with appealing, high quality and versatile products that will work well on either specials boards or regular menus.

"We've worked directly with manufacturers to create these 'packed with provenance' fishcakes and we're sure they'll be valuable additions to all kinds of outlets."
