Poppleston Allen launches online employment service
Licensing solicitors Poppleston Allen aims to reduce the regulatory burden on licensees through the launch of a new online service offering basic employment documents.
Marston's Pub Company is the first pubco to take up the offer of helping its licensees through the service, which is available to any multiple operator for an annual fee.
The service allows employers the opportunity to create bespoke employment contracts for every member of their team.
Other features include sample job offer letters, grievances and disciplinary hearings and regular news updates on any employment law changes.
"One of the key day-to-day concerns for licensees and operators is the increasing amount of regulatory hoops that need to be jumped through in the current retailing climate," said Nick Arron of Poppleston Allen.
"To this end, we've created a simple system aimed at helping licensees create contracts for their staff.
"We are delighted that Marston's have already signed up to the service for their tenanted, leased and free trade licensees and we are already in talks with another major pub operator."
