Grolsch gets new bottle
Coors Brewers has redesigned the bottle for Grolsch beer. The updated design, which features a "slimmer shape" and "reinstated retro grip strips", represents the fourth time that the bottle
has been altered
since it was first introduced in 1897. The design has also been accepted into the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising (MOBPA) in London. The new-look Grolsch will be stocked nationally across bars, restaurants, clubs and off-licences.
Sourz's £4m new look
Maxxium UK is investing £4m in repositioning its Sourz liqueur brand as a mixable spirit. The relaunch involves new packaging
with a semi-translucent sleeve, a new blackcurrent flavour and
a campaign entitled "Add Some Zing". The blackcurrant addition will sit alongside Sourz apple, cherry, tropical and pineapple variants. The new-look Sourz will be available to the on-trade from August.
Aspall lands first place
Aspall has won first place at the Quality Drink Awards 2008, for the fourth time in eight years, with its Aspall Premier Cru bottled cyder. Aspall Organic Suffolk Cyder was also shortlisted for the award. Aspall Draught Suffolk Cyder and Aspall Perronelle's Blush complete the range.
