Walkers has announced the six finalists in its 'Do Us A Flavour' campaign, in which members of the public were asked to invent their own flavour.
The winning entries - Fish and Chips, Onion Bhaji, Chilli and Chocolate, Crispy Duck and Hoi Sin, Builder's Breakfast and Cajun Squirrel - will be on sale from today.
Over one million entries were whittled down by a judging panel fronted by chief judge and celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal.
The flavours will now face the public vote to decide which one stays on sale permanently. The winner will be announced in May.
Kirk Tanner, Walkers VP Impulse UK & Ireland said: "The 'Do us a Flavour' campaign is a real first for the category and is a further example of how we are supporting the impulse trade and growing the crisps, snacks and nuts category. We urge pubs to also stock all six finalist flavours."
The campaign will be backed up by TV advertising, and point of sale kits are available. The crisps will be available in the larger-than-standard 'Big Eat' format and in small case sizes of 24 packs.
