A Warwickshire licensee has launched a plate-to-gate delivery service for farmers.
Freehold pub the Peacock in Oxhill, Warwickshire, is offering a farmers' supper service, which allows farmers working in surrounding areas to order anything off the menu and have it delivered to their fields.
Pub owners Yvonne Hamlett and Pam Farrell introduced the idea as harvest time means many of their regulars are busy working in the fields until late at night.
Farrell said: "We hit on the idea when one of our customers said he was sick of eating sandwiches because harvesting was preventing him from getting home for a proper meal.
"We are a real village pub in the middle of the Warwickshire countryside, so we have loads of farmers and agricultural workers as regulars."
Customers give the pub a call to place an order and they cook it and deliver it right to their tractor.
The most popular dishes have included cheesy leek-topped shepherd's pie, chicken in peppercorn sauce, curry, and steak and kidney pie.
