Beverage Brands has unwrapped a series of witty posters for WKD to liven up the festive season, along with separate adverts for WKD Core.
The WKD ads, which form part of the brand's Have You Got a WKD Side? campaign, aim to bring some typically-WKD humour to passers-by for three weeks from 14 December.
The posters will include seasonal suggestions such
as: "Watch her face light up this Christmas. Buy her a torch"; and "Go and see your loved ones on Boxing Day. Your football team", plus "If your mate's a bit short this Christmas, lend him your ladders".
Seasonal outdoor adverts will also be introduced for WKD Core, the 4.5% abv cider launched in May.
Statements emblazoned across the WKD Core ads include: "Guaranteed tastier than sprouts. Another bold claim from our new cider"; "Our gift to you. Not exactly a sports car, but our new cider is nice"; and "Feast your mince pies on this".
The outdoor campaigns are part of a Christmas support package for WKD, which includes TV advertising and a range of trade and consumer promotions.
