DVD pack to help potential Marston's tenants

Prospective Marston's tenants have been saved the pain of ploughing through pages of paperwork with the development of a DVD.

Anyone who enquires about running a Marston's tenanted pub will receive a DVD and CD-ROM through the post, in place of the daunting mountain of paperwork.

The pack is intended to explain the step-by-step process involved in taking on a Marston's pub.

It contains advice and explanations of agreements from Marston's licensees, plus a virtual tour of a Marston's pub and a link to tenants-only website MyMarston's.

Karl Czinege, retail solutions manager at Marston's, said: "We found that many people were put off by, and sometimes wouldn't get through, all the paperwork which came with enquiring about becoming a retailer.

"If someone isn't convinced after watching the DVD and exploring the CD-ROM then it's already done its job - it saves them, and us, a lot of time."
