The search is on for Pilsner Urquell's UK Master Bartender for 2010, and possibly, the world champion.
Not only will the winning bartender represent the UK at the world final in the Czech Republic, the licensee of the winning premises will also attend the awards ceremony and visit the brewery in Pilsen.
The competition is free to enter and open to all draught stockists of Pilsner Urquell.
In the first stage bartenders have to pass two paper modules and impress a mystery shopper. The top 10 bartenders will then be sent to the national final in September, with the winner representing the UK at the world final in the Czech Republic.
Gillian Loudon, trade marketing manager for brand owner's Miller Brands, said: "Since its launch in 2007, the programme has seen a tenfold increase in the number of entries and we're hoping that this year will attract a record number."
