Codes of practice on the agenda at BBPA event
Details of the British Beer & Pub Association's (BBPA) code of practice for pub companies will be on the agenda at the group's forthcoming key issues forum.
The BBPA's Dr Martin Rawlings and Pamela Bates will provide details of its framework code at the event being held at Lancashire Cricket Club, Old Trafford, on March 25.
The code follows criticism by MPs of a lack of transparency in some landlord and licensee relationships.
Other speakers include Stephen Baker, chairman of National Pubwatch and Martin Caffrey, operations director for the Federation of Licensed Victuallers Associations (FLVA).
Tim Wilson, of Wilson Drinks Report, will give delegates an in-depth study of the beer and pub market and discuss the issue of minimum pricing.
