Mulholland to meet pubs minister
Pro-pub MP Greg Mulholland is to meet the new pubs minister John Healey to discuss the problems facing the industry.
Mulholland, chair of the All Party Parliamentary Save the Pub Group, will be joined by fellow Group member David Drew MP.
Mulholland said: "I am delighted that the pubs minister has agreed to meet with members of the Save the Pub Group.
"Pubs play an integral role in our communities, and it is important that we urgently address the serious issues that are currently facing the trade.
"I hope that the pubs minister will take on board the recommendations by the Save the Pub members who have continuously campaigned on behalf of those who work within the pubs trade across Britain."
